Use Event Reports to get a real-time snapshot or drill down of your tickets.

Written by Rhio

When you're selling lots of different tickets, it's useful to check your ticket sales breakdown at a glance. With Event Reports, you can get an instant view of how your sales are doing per ticket type.

How to view your event reports

  • Head to Events and select the event you want to report on.

  • In the left-hand menu, choose Event reports.

  • From here, you'll be able to view your Issued tickets report and Check-in report using the tabs at the top.

Issued tickets report

  • You can use the filters to drill down further into your ticket data, e.g. to track the impact of a specific marketing campaign.

  • You can see your data in a pie chart, table, or timeline to help you find the insights you need as quickly as possible.

  • If you want to share this data, you can export the PDF by clicking Print report.

Check-in report

  • The check-in report shows you your:

    • Total check-ins over time

    • Check-ins by ticket type

    • Check-ins by device

    • Check-ins by user

  • You can use the filters to analyse your check-ins by occurrence, check-in date, user and device.

  • Check-in reporting is available on a preview basis so that you can get early access and provide valuable feedback.

  • Check-in reports aren't available if you haven't checked anyone into your event yet.

💡 Things to note

  • If you change the name of the ticket partway through your sales, two rows will be recorded in the pie chart and the table (one row tracking sales under the new name and one for sales under the original name, so that you can track the impact of the name change).

  • If a customer buys a ticket in a bundle using a discount, the report will only show the bundle applied and not the discount and bundle.

  • If a ticket's been purchased with a discount code, you can toggle this to show a separate row in the table and slice of the pie chart, so that you can track discount code sales easily.

    • If you've changed the name of a discount or bundle during sales, you will have 2 rows (one for the original name and one for the new name).

  • Imported tickets will also appear in this report.

  • If you’re looking at the report for a recurring event, you can use the filters to narrow down to specific days or occurrences.

  • Voided or cancelled tickets don't appear in the ticket sales report (only valid tickets are included).

  • If you can't see a 'list price' in your report, this is because list price data was not recorded at the time some tickets were issued. We have chosen not to display incomplete data in your reports. Moving forward, all data will be captured.
