If your event is over, you might want to delete your listing and data to clean up your Box office.
💡 Deleting an event doesn't delete order data (like names, emails and revenue). Learn how to delete personal data from orders.
How to delete an event
From your Ticket Tailor dashboard, head to Events.
Locate the event you want to delete.
Click the three-dot menu to the right, and choose Delete entire event.
Tick to confirm the deletion, then click Delete.
What happens when you delete an event:
All tickets are voided.
Personal data on tickets (names, emails, custom form responses) is deleted and replaced with ****.
Waitlist emails are anonymised and replaced with ****.
Order and revenue data is not removed from your Box office.
Your orders remain and payment data stay viewable in your Orders tab.
You can still view order history and run reports.
💡 Things to note
It may take up to 24 hours for ticket data to be fully deleted and removed from your dashboard.
If you're deleting a recurring event, this will delete the entire series including all occurrences.
Your revenue and financial reporting won't be affected by deleting an event
If you need customer data before deleting, export your orders first from the Orders tab.
Deleted events can only be recovered for 24 hours, so make sure you've exported any data you need and you're sure you want to delete.
