GetYourGuide is a global marketplace for travellers and experience seekers. By connecting it to your Ticket Tailor box office, your inventory, prices and availability stay in sync across both platforms automatically. No juggling between systems required! Your existing customers can keep buying direct, while GetYourGuide brings in incremental sales alongside.
Before you start:
Your event must be a recurring event series in Ticket Tailor.
You'll need to have a GetYourGuide supplier account (you can head here to set one up).
How to connect Ticket Tailor to GetYourGuide
Step 1. Activate the integration in Ticket Tailor
From your Ticket Tailor dashboard, head to your box office Settings, then click Integrations from the left-hand menu.
Under the Ticket sales & websites tab, find GetYourGuide and click Configure.
Click Activate to turn on the integration for your box office.
Step 2. Configure your event
Open the recurring event you want to sell on GetYourGuide.
In the event's side navigation, click GetYourGuide.
Choose your Event type:
Time slots â use this if your event runs at set times (e.g. entry at 9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm).
Opening hours â use this if your event is a venue open for a set window each day (e.g. a museum open MonâSat, 9:00amâ7:00pm).
Under Ticket mappings, map each of your Ticket Tailor ticket types to a GetYourGuide category (Adult, Child, Youth, Infant, Senior, Student, etc.).
Click Save.
Once you've saved a valid configuration, a Product ID will appear at the top of the page. You'll need this in the next step.
Step 3. Set up your product on GetYourGuide
Setting up on GetYourGuide requires you to select Ticket Tailor as the inventory source.
In GetYourGuide's supplier portal, start creating a new product.
When prompted to choose a ticketing system, select Ticket Tailor from the provider list.
When prompted, enter the Product ID from your Ticket Tailor configuration page.
Continue setting up your event in GetYourGuide â product title, description, photos, pricing display, and any other platform-specific details.
From there, any tickets sold on GetYourGuide will automatically reduce availability in Ticket Tailor, and GetYourGuide customers will appear in your issued tickets list.
How am I charged for bookings made via GetYourGuide?
GetYourGuide platform fees
GetYourGuide charges their own commission on each booking made through their platform. Check your GetYourGuide supplier agreement for current rates.
Ticket Tailor usage
We count 1 usage per ticket sold via GetYourGuide, the same as any ticket sold through your Ticket Tailor box office.
There are no additional subscription or setup fees from Ticket Tailor to use the GetYourGuide integration.
How to manage your GetYourGuide bookings and inventory
All availability and ticket inventory is managed in Ticket Tailor. If you sell out on one channel, the other updates automatically.
GetYourGuide bookings appear in your Issued tickets list. They're tagged as originating from GetYourGuide and can be viewed like any other order.
Refunds and cancellations for GetYourGuide bookings need to be handled through GetYourGuide's supplier portal, in line with their policies.
