Sometimes your ticket buyers might contact you saying they've not received their order confirmation email. To help them with this, you can quickly check if this was sent to them by heading to your Orders dashboard.
How to check if an order confirmation email was delivered
To check if an order confirmation was delivered:
Click on 'Orders' in the top navigation bar.
Select the order you want to check.
You can search for orders by name or email.
Look for the 'Order confirmation status' row in the order details.
Hover over the status to see more information, including when the status was last updated.
What each email status means
The order confirmation status shows one of several states:
Email opened - The confirmation was delivered and your ticket buyer opened it. You'll see a green tick icon.
Email delivered - The confirmation was successfully delivered to your ticket buyer's inbox. You'll also see a green tick icon.
Email bounced - The confirmation couldn't be delivered. This appears with a red warning icon. The ticket buyer's email address might be incorrect, so check it before resending the confirmation.
Email marked as spam - The confirmation was delivered, but either the ticket buyer or their email provider marked it as spam. This shows with an amber warning icon.
Email rejected by provider - The confirmation was sent, but the email provider refused to accept it. You'll see an amber warning icon.
Email delayed - Delivery is delayed but expected to go through soon. Check back later to see if it's been delivered.
Email pending - The confirmation hasn't been delivered yet. Wait a few minutes and check again.
💡 If you see that an email bounced or was marked as spam, you can resend the order confirmation from the order page after checking that the ticket buyer's email address is correct.
