Reporting on your Memberships

How to report on your membership sales and redemptions.

When you're using memberships via Ticket Tailor, it may be handy to report on them to understand your membership usage and engagement.


How to see how many memberships you've sold

Memberships can be sold by creating a linked product. It may be helpful to read through this article first to understand how this is done.

See all of your membership orders

  • If you've been selling memberships via a linked product, you can find a full list of all membership orders in your Product reporting.

  • Head to 'Products'.

  • Click on 'Sold products' in the left-hand menu.

  • Filter by product and select your membership type to generate a whole list of orders.

See how much revenue you've generated through membership sales

  • You can see an overview of the revenue generated from Membership-linked product sales from 'Products'.

💡 If you need to download detailed reports, you can export your order information as a line item report and filter to orders containing the relevant membership types.


How to see how many memberships you've issued

  • Head to 'Memberships'.

  • Click on 'Issued memberships' in the left-hand menu.

  • Issued memberships are all of your memberships where a QR code has been sent to your members.

    • Pending memberships are memberships where your member still needs to issue their membership via self-serve.

  • You can see, filter, and export the lists of all of your memberships.

  • If you've got a lot of different membership types, you can see all of the issued memberships for that membership type by going to 'Membership types', opening the Membership type you're interested in, and scrolling to the bottom to see your issued memberships (not including pending memberships).

💡 Under 'Manage membership types', the 'Issued memberships' column will show you how many memberships you have issued in total for a quick overview. This number doesn't include pending memberships.

Understand how memberships have been used

  • Head to 'Memberships'.

  • Click on 'Redemptions' in the left-hand menu.

  • You can see and filter a list of all the memberships which have been used via Ticket Tailor.

    • Here you'll see a full list of all redemptions, showing details like:

      • When the membership was redeemed

      • Whether it was an event redemption or an order redemption

      • Which event or order it was redeemed for

      • Membership type name

      • Membership code

      • Member name and email address

    How to use filters

    You can filter redemptions using any combination of these options:

    • Membership code

    • Member name

    • Member email

    • Membership type

    • Redemption type

    • Date range

    • Enter your filter criteria.

    • The results will automatically update to show matching redemptions.


💡 Things to note

  • Filters work together, so you can combine multiple criteria to narrow down your search. For example, you can filter for a specific membership type redeemed after a certain date.

  • If an issued membership isn't found for a redemption, you'll see a warning message in that row.
