How to show your events in a calendar view within your widget or box office page

Learn how to display your events in a familiar monthly grid layout for your ticket buyers.

When you enable the calendar view feature, you can embed a monthly calendar view for your customers to see and book all of your events. This makes it easier for them to browse dates and choose events, especially if you run regular or recurring events. You can choose to display a 'Calendar with list' view or a 'Full calendar' view.

The calendar shows each event with its time, availability status, and pricing (if you've chosen to display prices). Customers can navigate between months and filter by event name if you have multiple event series.

How the calendar works for your ticket buyers

The calendar displays your events in a familiar monthly grid layout:

  • Each event appears on its date with the start time and event name.

  • Events are colour-coded by availability (available, low availability, sold out, or unavailable).

  • Customers can click any event to go straight to the checkout page.

  • Navigation buttons let them move between months to see upcoming events.

  • If you have multiple event series, a filter dropdown appears at the top so customers can view specific events.

💡 Things to note

  • Only published events appear in the calendar. Draft events are hidden unless you're logged in to your box office.

  • Events set to hide from your box office won't appear in the calendar for customers.

  • Past events still show in the calendar but appear greyed out and can't be clicked.

  • If you've chosen to show prices on your calendar, they'll display for available events only.

  • The calendar automatically starts on the current month, or the first month with upcoming events.
