Sometimes buyers of a specific ticket need information based on their ticket selection. For example, if you're running a hybrid event, and you can buy an in-person ticket or an online ticket, your online ticket holders will need the streaming link, whilst the in-person attendees will need the venue details.
By adding conditional content to the bottom of your event confirmation email you can streamline your operations.
How to add conditional content
Open the event from the 'Events' tab.
Head to 'Event confirmation' in the left-hand menu.
Scroll to the 'Conditional content' section at the bottom of the page.
Click 'Add Content'.
Use the checkbox to choose which ticket (or tickets) should get this information sent to them.
Enter your content, and click 'Save'.
The conditional content will appear at the bottom of event confirmation emails.
You can repeat these steps if you need to send different information to the holders of other ticket types.
💡 Things to note
Conditional content will only be sent once per ticket type in the order, even if multiple tickets of the same type are bought in that order.
You can use conditional content alongside a 'global' or an 'event specific' order confirmation.
