Can I send event information per ticket type?

Yes - include conditional content, based on your ticket types, in your event confirmation email.

Written by Rhio

Sometimes buyers of a specific ticket need information based on their ticket selection. For example, if you're running a hybrid event, and you can buy an in-person ticket or an online ticket, your online ticket holders will need the streaming link, whilst the in-person attendees will need the venue details.

By adding conditional content to the bottom of your event confirmation email you can streamline your operations.

How to add conditional content

  • Open your event from the Events tab.

  • Head to Event confirmation in the left-hand menu.

  • Scroll to the Conditional content section at the bottom of the page.

  • Click Add Content.

  • Use the checkbox to choose which ticket (or tickets) should get this information sent to them.

  • Enter your content, and click Save.

  • The conditional content will appear at the bottom of event confirmation emails.

  • You can repeat these steps if you need to send different information to the holders of other ticket types.

💡 Things to note

  • Conditional content will only be sent once per ticket type in the order, even if multiple tickets of the same type are bought in that order.

  • You can use conditional content alongside a 'global' or an 'event specific' order confirmation.
