How to set up your memberships as Apple Wallet passes

Configure your memberships as an Apple pass by heading to 'Settings', 'Integrations', then 'Onsite & attendee experience'.

If your members have an iPhone, they might use the Wallet app to keep all of their passes in one convenient place for easy access.


How to activate Apple Wallet passes for memberships

  • Head to your Box office Settings.

  • Click on Integrations in the left-hand side menu.

  • Select the Onsite & attendee experience tab, then look for Apple Wallet passes for memberships.

  • Click Configure next to Apple Wallet passes for memberships.

  • Upload your images:

    • Header logo – This appears at the top of the pass (Recommended size: 480 x 150 pixels (3.2:1 strip, transparent PNG)).

    • Lock screen notification icon – This shows on lock screen notifications (Recommended size: 512 x 512 pixels (square, transparent PNG)).

  • Choose your colours:

    • Background colour – The main colour of the pass.

    • Label colour – The colour for field labels.

    • Text colour – The colour for field values.

  • Preview your pass design on the right side of the screen as you make changes.

  • Click Activate.

  • A button to add to Apple Wallet will appear on the issued membership confirmation email after your customers buy a membership.

  • The button will also appear in self-serve, which members can access via the Manage tickets link in their confirmation email or the Manage tickets option on your box office page.

  • This means if you activate Apple Wallet passes after memberships have already been issued, your members can still add their membership to Apple Wallet.


How to deactivate Apple Wallet passes for memberships

If you want to turn off this feature:

  • Head to your Box office Settings, then Integrations.

  • Under the Onsite & attendee experience tab, click Configure next to Apple Wallet passes for memberships.

  • Click Deactivate at the bottom of the page.

  • Confirm you want to deactivate the feature.


💡 Things to note

  • The branding you choose will apply to all of the memberships you have in your box office.
