How do I get my 1099 form?

Download your 1099-K from your Stripe, Square or PayPal account.

Written by Rhio

Ticket Tailor does not issue 1099 forms. If you’re a US-based event creator, your 1099-K is provided by your payment processor, not Ticket Tailor. This is because payments go directly to you, via your Stripe, PayPal or Square account. That means they’re responsible for tax reporting and issuing 1099-K forms when required.

Where to get your 1099-K

Your 1099-K will be available directly from the payment processor you use to take payments: Stripe, PayPal or Square.

  1. Log in to your payment processor account

  2. Go to the tax documents or tax reporting section

  3. Download your 1099-K (if you’re eligible to receive one)

If you can’t find your form, you’ll need to contact your payment processor’s support team for help.

Why doesn’t Ticket Tailor provide 1099s?

Ticket Tailor connects your events to your payment processor, but all payments and payouts are handled by the processor.

💡 Things to note

  • Not everyone will receive a 1099-K. This depends on IRS rules and your payment processor’s reporting thresholds.

  • A 1099-K reports gross payments, not profit. If you’re unsure how to use it, we recommend speaking to a tax professional.

  • If you have questions about how to file your taxes or use your 1099-K, please speak with your tax advisor.

  • If you need help finding your payment processor, head to your payment systems page, or contact our support team.
