How to show low ticket availability for an occurrence

Drive urgency and highlight when a specific occurrence in a series is selling out to help with your marketing.

Written by Rhio

If you run recurring events, you can display a 'Low Availability' status label next to timeslots that are running low on tickets. This helps create urgency and lets customers know when availability is limited.

How to show a label when tickets are running low

  • Head to Events, then open your recurring event.

  • Scroll down to the Event capacity section and tick the checkbox called Show low availability status when tickets are running low.

  • Set the threshold - the ticket quantity at which the label should appear.

  • Customise the status label text to set the message your ticket buyers will see (e.g. 'Low Availability').

  • Click Save.

What your ticket buyers will see

Once enabled, customers browsing your event page will see the status label displayed next to any timeslots that have fallen below your chosen threshold.

If customers are viewing availability via the calendar view, the label will also appear there, giving a clear visual indicator of limited availability, and encouraging them to book before a sellout!

💡 Things to note:

  • This feature is only available for recurring events. It will not appear for non-recurring events.

  • You can also set a custom label for your occurrences if you want to add a note that isn't related to availability.
