Why can't I see my ticket buyers' emails in Mailchimp?

Try these troubleshooting steps.

It can take up to 2 hours for a new ticket buyer to appear in your Mailchimp account. If you're still not seeing emails in your account after this time, please check the below settings.


How to check your account is connected

  • Head to 'Box office settings' > 'Integrations' > 'Email marketing & CRM' > 'Add ticket buyers to your lists on Mailchimp', and check if there's a message confirming your box office is connected to your MailChimp account. It will say 'Activated' if connected.

How to check your Mailchimp double opt-in settings

  • Head to 'Box office settings' > 'Integrations' > 'Marketing & CRM' > 'Mailchimp'.

  • If the double opt-in setting is set to yes, it means that your mailing list subscribers have to confirm their sign-up before appearing on your list.

How to check your required fields in Mailchimp

  • We send the following fields to MailChimp: FNAME LNAME EVENT.

  • Please check your corresponding sign-up form in Mailchimp matches, with no required fields selected except for email address.
