What will my tickets look like?

See what your default ticket design will look like.

Written by Jonny White

Ticket Tailor's default ticket design is an automatic email sent to your buyers after they buy a ticket. Their default ticket contains a QR code and barcode, with a unique order number, as well as a link to add a calendar reminder.

💡 For more information on customising your order confirmation email, please see the help article How to edit your Order confirmation email.

By default, the ticket email looks like this:

You can customise your event confirmation email however you wish, using placeholders to add and remove information.

Your tickets can also be attached to the email as a PDF, which makes them easier for buyers to print, share and save to their phone: How do I send tickets as a PDF?

💡 Things to note

  • The ticket in the body of the email is always this design. If you send tickets as a PDF too, that PDF is a separate attachment with its own layout.

  • If you're using white label, you can replace the PDF's background with your own custom design: How can I customise my PDF ticket?

  • The QR code is 161 x 161 px.

  • You can export ticket codes for your issued tickets to use them with other services, for example turnstiles.
