How to get started with PayPal
You can use either a Personal or Business PayPal account with Ticket Tailor. However, if you plan to sell tickets frequently or want access to additional tools like Buy Now, Pay Later, a Business account is recommended.
A PayPal business account unlocks Buy Now, Pay Later options in eligible markets, plus offers more flexible dispute and reporting tools. It's best suited for ongoing or higher-volume ticket sales.

Verify your PayPal account from the Confirm your Identity page.
Before you start taking payments, PayPal may ask you to complete verification. Doing this early helps prevent payout delays and ensures smooth processing during busy sales periods.
PayPal will typically ask for a copy of your government-issued ID, and a proof of address issued within the past 12 months.
You can take photos of them with your phone and upload them to PayPal directly.
PayPal usually reviews your documents within 2 working days.
If you're using a new PayPal account, you might find that PayPal will hold the initial payments you receive for up to 21 days. (This is a common industry practice to cover potential complaints, and is ultimately decided by PayPal).
If you want to review payments that are on hold from your Ticket Tailor Box office sales, log in to your PayPal account and click Know your options under your PayPal balance.
As you start to build a positive selling history with PayPal and confirm your identity, you should get access to your money faster.
