The Ticket Tailor WordPress plugin lets you embed event registration forms directly into your WordPress website. This help article will show you how to connect your WordPress site to your Ticket Tailor dashboard.

How to set up your WordPress widget

  • From the Promote section of your dashboard, choose Website embed code from the side menu.

  • Click the button marked Edit widget settings to change how the widget looks.

  • From the drop-down menus you can choose how many events to show, whether the background should be filled or transparent, and whether to show the header and event info.

  • When you’re done editing, click the Update widget button to see a preview of how your widget will now look.

  • Under the Copy embed code heading, choose For Wordpress Websites from the dropdown menu. Follow the instructions to install the Ticket Tailor WordPress plugin.

Troubleshooting: Widget not showing on mobile or tablet (Divi Builder)

If you're using the Divi Builder and your Ticket Tailor widget appears on desktop but not on mobile or tablet, this is caused by a quirk specific to Divi's Code module.

Unlike every other Divi module, content entered into the Desktop tab does not automatically populate the Tablet and Mobile tabs. You need to paste the embed code into all three tabs manually.

How to fix it

  1. Open the affected page in Divi's Visual Builder.

  2. Click the Code module containing your Ticket Tailor embed.

  3. Switch to the Tablet tab and paste the same embed code.

  4. Switch to the Mobile tab and paste the same embed code again.

  5. Save and publish the page.

Embed code disappearing after edits?

If you find you need to re-paste the embed code every time you edit the page in the Divi Visual Builder, this is caused by Divi's script escaping. To avoid this:

  • Use WordPress's plain HTML/Code Block editor instead of the Divi Visual Builder to paste the embed code.

  • Or use the Ticket Tailor WordPress shortcode ([tt-event ...]), which is not affected by Divi's script escaping.

💡 Things to note

  • The Ticket Tailor widget is responsive, meaning that it will fill the width of whatever space you put it into.

  • If you find the borders of the widget go out of range, click Edit widget settings and change the background to transparent.
