You can ask your buyers and attendees for a signature when you personalise your checkout form questions.
Collecting a signature during checkout provides an extra layer of confirmation that your buyers have read (and agreed to) your terms and conditions.
It’s particularly useful for:
Events with physical activity (e.g., sports, fitness, or outdoor activities)
Events with age or health requirements
Any event where you require a signed waiver
How to ask ticket buyers for a signature
Open your checkout form to edit it.
If you need a signature for all of your events, head to your box office Settings, and open the Checkout form.
If you need a signature for just one event, head to your event, open the Checkout form and choose Event specific checkout form at the top of the page.
Add a checkout form question.
If you want every ticket holder to sign your terms, or waiver, select Add an attendee question.
If you only need the buyer to add a signature, choose Add a buyer only question.
Under What kind of response do you want? choose Terms and conditions agreement.
In the text box called What question do you want to ask? write what you want to ask before requesting a signature, for example, "Please sign to accept the waiver".
Under Agreement type choose Signature to request a signature.
Add your full terms to the text box, and choose if you want them expanded (so they show fully) or if buyers need to click to reveal them.
💡 It may also be a good idea to include your full terms and conditions on your event page, so your buyers can read them in advance.
Use the final options to choose whether the signature is needed for tickets, products, particular ticket types only, and if it's required.
Save your question, and your customers will be asked for a signature at checkout.
