How to integrate your Ticket Tailor account with Get Your Guide

Written by Siobhan

Get Your Guide is a global marketplace for travellers and experience seekers. By connecting it to your Ticket Tailor box office, your inventory, prices and availability stay in sync across both platforms automatically. No juggling between systems required! Your existing customers can keep buying direct, while Get Your Guide brings in incremental sales alongside.

Before you start:

  • Your event must be a recurring event series in Ticket Tailor.

  • You'll need to have a Get Your Guide supplier account (you can head here to set one up).

💡 The Ticket Tailor and Get Your Guide integration is new, and being rolled out slowly. If you can't see it on your box office just yet, you can expect it by the end of August.

How to connect Ticket Tailor to Get Your Guide

Step 1. Activate the integration in Ticket Tailor

  • From your Ticket Tailor dashboard, head to your Box office Settings, then click Integrations from the left-hand menu.

  • Under the Ticket sales & websites tab, find Get Your Guide and click Configure.

Screenshot showing the 'Integrations' page, with the 'Ticket sales & websites' tab selected. There's an arrow pointing to the 'Configure' button for the Get Your Guide integration.
  • Click Activate to turn on the integration for your box office.

Step 2. Configure your event

  • Open the recurring event you want to sell on Get Your Guide.

  • In the event's side navigation, click Get Your Guide.

  • Choose your Event type:

    • Time slots – use this if your event runs at set times (e.g. entry at 9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm).

    • Opening hours – use this if your event is a venue open for a set window each day (e.g. a museum open Mon–Sat, 9:00am–7:00pm).

  • Under Ticket mappings, map each of your Ticket Tailor ticket types to a Get Your Guide category (Adult, Child, Youth, Infant, Senior, Student, etc.).

  • Click Save.

Once you've saved a valid configuration, a Product ID will appear at the top of the page. You'll need this in the next step.

Step 3. Set up your product on Get Your Guide

Setting up on Get Your Guide requires you to select Ticket Tailor as the inventory source.

  • In Get Your Guide's supplier portal, start creating a new product.

  • When prompted to choose a ticketing system, select Ticket Tailor from the provider list.

  • When prompted, enter the Product ID from your Ticket Tailor configuration page.

  • Continue setting up your event in Get Your Guide – product title, description, photos, pricing display, and any other platform-specific details.

From there, any tickets sold on Get Your Guide will automatically reduce availability in Ticket Tailor, and Get Your Guide customers will appear in your issued tickets list.
