How much do Stripe, PayPal and Square charge?

When tickets are purchased for your event, Stripe or PayPal will charge a fee to process the transaction.

You can use either Stripe, Square, or PayPal to take payments from your attendees. Both platforms will charge you a per-transaction fee for this service.

How much are payment processing fees?

Stripe

US fees: 2.9% + 30c per transaction. UK fees: 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards. EU fees: 1.5% + €0.25 for standard EEA cards. Please check Stripe for other fees.

E.g. if someone in the UK buys 2 X £10 tickets, totalling £20 then the Stripe fees would be 50p.

PayPal

E.g. if someone in the UK buys 2 X £10 tickets, totalling £20 then the PayPal fees would be 54p.

Square

E.g. if someone in the UK buys 2 X £10 tickets, totalling £20 then the Square fees would be 53p.
