How can I build a Ticket Tailor event with AI?

With AI assist connected, you can ask Claude to build your event for you, from the title down to the ticket types.

Written by Rhio

Setting up an event usually means working through a few different sections: the basics, your ticket types, pricing, images. AI assist lets you skip the form-filling and just describe your event instead. Claude does the setting up, you do the double-checking.

Before you start

You'll need AI assist connected to Claude first. If you haven't done this yet, follow our guide on how to connect Ticket Tailor to your favourite AI agent.

A couple of things worth knowing before you dive in:

  • You'll need to be on the Claude Pro plan.

  • We'd recommend keeping 'Hide personal data from responses' switched on in your API key settings. Claude only needs your event details to build an event, not your attendees' personal data.

Building an event with Claude

Once AI assist is connected and toggled on, just describe the event you want in plain English. The more detail you give Claude, the less tidying up you'll need to do afterwards.

For example, you could ask:

"Create a new event in my Box office called 'Autumn pottery workshop'. It's on Saturday 18 October, 10am to 1pm, at The Clay Studio, Birmingham. Add two ticket types: 'Standard' at £35 and 'Standard + materials kit' at £45. Limit it to 12 spaces."

Claude will use the details you've given it to set up the event, including the ticket types and pricing, directly in your Box office. You can keep going from there, asking it to add a description, upload an image, or tweak the ticket limits, all in the same conversation.

A few tips for best results

  • Be specific. Dates, times, prices and capacity are easy for Claude to get right when you spell them out. Vague requests mean more back-and-forth.

  • Build it in stages. For a more complex event, like one with multiple ticket types, add-ons or a seating chart, ask for one piece at a time rather than everything in a single message.

  • Always review before you publish. Claude is quick, but it's still worth a final check of your event page, the same way you would if you'd built it yourself. Check your ticket prices, dates and event visibility before you make it live.

  • Keep going after launch. AI assist isn't just for building events. Once it's live, you can ask Claude to update pricing, pull sales snapshots, or write your social captions too.
