Create an eye-catching online home for your events in minutes with Ticket Tailor, by customising your Box office.

You can customise your Box office and Event pages to represent your brand, and use it just like a website. (Your Ticket Tailor Box office is where all of your organisation's events will be listed. Think of it like your online ticket shop your customers can visit).

Link to your 'Listings page' with all of your events, or share individual 'Event pages', from your existing site or social media to market your events and sell your tickets.

How to customise your Ticket Tailor Box office and Event pages

How to open the editor

  • From the 'Box Office Settings' section of your dashboard, choose 'Box office design' from the side menu to load the editor.

  • This will open a visual editor, where you can preview your changes as you make them.

  • If you need more room on your screen, you can use the arrow to hide or reveal the editor so you can really explore your design.

How to customise your Box office brand

You can choose the overall theme of your box office (like the style and colours) by using the steps below:

  • After opening the editor, you'll land on the 'Box office' tab. This is where you can pick the overall theme and style for your listings and event pages.

  • Choose from a preset theme by scrolling through the designs using the arrows. Click on one you like to try it out.

    • Take your customisation a step further, and expand the dropdown called 'Customise styles' to add your own brand colours and choose from a list of fonts.

  • If you want to add a new logo, or replace your existing one, use the 'Choose image' button under the 'Logo' header.

    • The suggested logo should be a square with a minimum height of 150 px.

    • This image will overwrite any logo you added in 'Box office settings'. (Your logo there will appear on your website widget, checkout, self-serve, and order invoices, so it's advisable to add the same logo in both places).

  • Under the 'Header link' use the checkboxes to choose if you want to display a link to your Store and/or the link to the 'Contact the event organiser' form, and type what you want them to say.

  • If you want to add another link to your event page, for example back to your website home page, tick the box called 'Show custom link' and add your link text and URL.

How to customise your listings page

Once you're happy with the theme and brand of your box office, you can start to choose the look of your listing page. This is the page which shows all of your upcoming events. (If you're only running one event, you may want to skip this section).

  • Select the 'listings page' tab in the editor.

  • If you want to add a picture or title and description to the top of your listings page click the 'Enable header banner' checkbox.

  • Use the arrows to choose a layout for your header banner.

  • Add your header text and description. (Please note that these are optional. If you leave this blank, nothing will show up on your listings page.)

  • Use the 'Choose image' button to add a single image, or an image carousel, to your events. You can upload your own photos and designs, or choose a free image. To make it accessible, describe your header image with alt text.

    • The suggested size for a 'Full width' header image is 1200px by 420px.

    • The suggested size for 'Full size' and 'Full screen' header images is 1600px by 1000px.

    • The suggested size for 'Side by side' header images is 1024px by 1024px.

  • Under the 'Event list' heading you can choose the layout of your events.

πŸ’‘ Things to note

  • Changes to the design of your box office will affect all of your events listed in your box office.

  • Changes made to colours and header images in the box office will also be applied to ticket widgets for individual events. You can learn more about embedding ticket widgets here: How to embed a box office widget on your website.

  • The option to contact you via the 'contact the event organiser form' will always be available to customers at the bottom of your Box office pages (and in self-serve). The email messages will go to is the one you set in contact preferences.

  • Your events will automatically be ordered by start date on your listings page. If the start date is the same, they will then be alphabetical. If you want to add a search option to appear to your customers, so they can filter your events, select the 'Enable search on event listings' option from your Box office settings.
