Whilst your ticket sales are going through the roof, alongside celebrating, you might want to check how much revenue you've been making.
Using Sales reports, you can get a handy breakdown of your revenue, via your Revenue report, and add filters to drill down to the data you need.
How to view your Revenue report
Head to 'Orders' in the top navigation bar.
Click 'Sales reports' in the left-hand menu.
You'll land on an up-to-date snapshot of your current revenue breakdown.
You can use the filters to drill down further into your sales data, e.g. to see the revenue made from one specific event.
Your revenue calculation in this report is the total amount of money you have taken for ticket and product sales and donations, minus any refunds, based on your filters.
💡Things to note
The sales report does not include any fees (Ticket Tailor fees or Payment processing fees).
Find your Ticket Tailor fees under 'chargeable usage' on your billing page, and your payment processing fees in Stripe, Square or Paypal.
The 'refund' total in this report only includes refunds that have been issued via your payment processor, not refunds credited as a voucher.
When your customers pay for their orders with a gift voucher or a voucher code, the amount (whether in full or partial) is deducted from the report to accurately reflect the revenue. You can find this under 'Gift voucher and voucher code deductions' in the revenue breakdown.
When you transfer orders between events, the transferred order amounts and any associated taxes are deducted from the report to accurately reflect the revenue. You can find this under 'Adjustment for transferred orders' in the revenue breakdown.
The revenue report is calculated for each currency. If you're running events using different currencies, please ensure that you select the correct currency to visualise the associated revenue.
To share your revenue report with someone, you can invite them to your account via team access, making sure their permissions are set to 'Order manager' with the ability to 'View sales reports'.
