You can easily add sales tax / VAT as an additional charge. This can be set up on all tickets and products you sell in your box office, or you can set a custom sales tax per event.
💡 Please note: Sales tax does not get added to donation amounts.
Set up sales tax for your box office
Click 'Box Office Settings' from the main navigation.
From the left-hand side click on 'Checkout fees and tax'.
Specify whether you want your sales tax to be exclusive, and be charged on top of the ticket prices you set up, or if you want it to be inclusive if your ticket prices already reflect the total price your buyers should pay.
Enter the sales tax percentage amount.
Enter the label by which you want to describe your sales tax (e.g. in the UK you would put VAT).
Now all orders will have sales tax added on during the checkout process.
Set up sales tax for a specific event
Go to the event which you want to add a custom sales tax to.
Open the 'Edit event and tickets' page.
Scroll down to the 'Advanced settings'.
Select the checkbox called 'Set custom sales tax fee for this event' and add your tax percentage and label.
