There may be scenarios where you want to sell tickets for an event in a different currency or offer multiple currency options for the same event. With Ticket Tailor, you can choose from over 20 currencies to sell tickets.

How to edit your event's currency

  • In the 'Events' section of your dashboard, find your event and choose 'Edit event and tickets' from the side menu.

  • Under the 'Event settings' heading, you’ll see a drop-down menu titled 'Currency'.

  • Select the currency you want ticket buyers to purchase tickets in.

Multi-currency events

  • If you have an event where you want ticket buyers to checkout in multiple currencies, we suggest duplicating the event. Each duplicate event should provide a different currency for ticket buyers.

    • For example, event names could be 'Festival Tickets EUR', 'Festival Tickets USD', 'Festival Tickets GBP'.

    • This way, ticket buyers have the choice of buying in their preferred currency, and you can display prices dependent on the individual cost of collecting money from those regions.

💡 Things to note

  • If your event is live, you'll need to switch back to 'Draft' before you can change the currency.

  • Stripe and PayPal's fees will vary depending on which currency ticket buyers pay in.
