How to stop certain ticket types being scanned on your app

Use doorlist filters to restrict which tickets or products your check-in device can scan.

When your event includes many ticket types, or a mix of tickets and products, you may want to restrict which ticket types and products can be scanned by a specific check-in device. For example, you might have a merch table where you only want to scan product QR codes.


How to set up scanning filters on your check-in device

  • Open your event in the Check-in app and navigate to the 'Doorlist' tab on the bottom right.

  • Select the filter icon in the top right corner.

  • Use the buttons to choose to filter between tickets, products, or specific ticket types.

  • If you scan a ticket type that's been filtered out, you'll get an error message notifying you that it can't be checked in on that device.
