If you're running a recurring event, there may be some days you want to offer a special promotion (think: free popcorn for World Popcorn Day, or a 50% discount on Valentine's Day). Creating an 'Event date limited discount' allows discounts to be limited to a specific date range of event start dates.
How to set up an data-restricted discount
Ask the Customer Support team to enable this feature on your account.
From the 'Promote' section of your dashboard, choose 'Discount codes' from the side menu.
Click the button marked 'Create discount code'.
Enter your discount details as usual.
Under the 'Validity' heading, select the checkboxes labelled 'Only valid for events starting after/before a certain date'.
