The Ticket Tailor app on Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is a handy way to improve how you work across both platforms. It's a free app - launched to improve the experience of working on Ticket Tailor and Blackbaud simultaneously. If you use Blackbaud and want to sell tickets online – then this is a great way to make your life easier.
What does the integration allow you to do?
Once the integration is live, you'll be able to do the following things directly on your Raiser's Edge dashboard:
Review box office summary data – including 30-day revenue stats, number of events published and live, number of tickets issued in last 30 days.
Jump straight to the Ticket Tailor page you need – allowing you to add a new event, review orders, or view your box office summary.
Review event summary data – including event status, number of occurrences in a recurring event, event date, ticket revenue, number of issued tickets, number of check-ins.
Jump straight to useful actions on your event – allowing you to edit your event page, view event page, copy event link, or view event summary.
How to set up the Ticket Tailor and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT integration?
Steps in Blackbaud:
Search for 'Ticket Tailor' on the Blackbaud marketplace.
Select 'Get Started' and install Ticket Tailor on your dashboard.
Once the app appears on your dashboard click on the ⚙️ icon to open Settings.
You'll be prompted to enter your Ticket Tailor API key (see below).
Steps in Ticket Tailor:
Head to 'Box office settings', then open the API page from the left-hand menu.
Click 'Generate a new API key'.
Tick 'Event read only' and 'Hide personal data from responses' - this ensures all relevant information is sent to Blackbaud, but no personal data.
Paste the API key back into the relevant box on the Blackbaud settings page
How does the app work once it's live?
Once the integration is set up, live box office and event data will appear directly on your Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT dashboard.
The above screenshot shows box office summary data as well as quick links to move between Blackbaud and Ticket Tailor.
Clicking the 'Events' tab will give specific event information:
You can filter events based on their status (e.g. draft or published) and if they are in the past or not.
