Sometimes events get rearranged or cancelled. You can easily bulk cancel your orders, and optionally refund your customers, to give you one less thing to worry about.
How to cancel orders in bulk
In the βOrdersβ section of your dashboard, use the search box or filters to generate a list of all of the orders you'd like to cancel.
You can also select specific orders using the checkboxes if there is a small group of customer orders you need to cancel.
Use the 'Actions' dropdown to select 'Cancel/refund'.
Enter the cancellation reason to send to your buyers (e.g. "Event cancelled").
Use the dropdown to choose if you want to refund your customers and your preferred refund method.
No refund - this simply cancels the order and does not issue a refund.
Auto-refund to buyers via original payment method - this automatically refunds your customer via Stripe, PayPal or Square.
Refund to buyers via voucher - this issues a voucher to your customer which they can use to book another event in your box office.
Record refund outside of Ticket Tailor - select this option if you've refunded your customer manually (e.g. with cash) and you want this to reflect in your dashboard analytics.
Review and confirm your cancellation at the next step.
Cancel and optionally refund if you're happy with the summary.
π‘ Things to note
You can't partially refund orders in bulk. If you want to partially refund orders, this needs to be done individually.
You might be asked to verify your account using a code sent to your login email when cancelling orders in bulk.
