Whether you’re selling season passes for unlimited entry to your sports matches, releasing early-bird members-only tickets, or offering exclusive membership discounts, keeping your fans in the know will help your events run even more smoothly.

You can email all of your members using membership email broadcasts to update them with important announcements.

How to send an Email broadcast to your members

  • To send a membership Email broadcast, navigate to 'Memberships' and select 'Email broadcasts' from the left-hand navigation.

  • Press the 'Create Broadcast' button.

    • Email broadcasts are free to send, but in order to prevent spam, you may be asked for some type of verification at this step.

  • Using the 'Recipients' dropdown, choose which types of members you'd like to email.

  • Fill in the 'Subject' and 'Message' with the content you'd like to send.

  • You can format the message to look however you want using the tools provided and you can add placeholders to personalise the message.

  • For example, if you wanted a personalised greeting such as 'Hi Sarah', click the 'Insert placeholder' button and click 'Member first name'. This adds a placeholder to the message that will be replaced by your member's name.

  • Next, decide when you want your email to be sent. The options are:

    • Immediately – send your message instantly to your chosen audience.

    • At a scheduled date and time – choose a specified time to send your message.

    • When you're ready to send, read and agree to the terms and click the 'Send Broadcast' button. You'll get a quick preview to check it over one final time.

  • If you're not ready to send yet, click 'Save draft' to come back and send it later.

  • That's it! Your Email broadcast is now queued for sending and the system will take care of the rest. For immediate messages, it'll usually go out within ten minutes.


πŸ’‘ Things to note

  • Sending announcements with Membership email broadcasts is included for free.

  • Only selling Membership products online has a small charge: 1 usage or 1 PAYG charge (the same as selling tickets).

  • You can only send membership codes as a placeholder. If you would like to resend a membership QR code, please do so from the original order.

  • If you want to send the same information to ticket holders of a specific event as well as members, you'll need to send one email broadcast to members and one to ticket holders. You can copy and paste your broadcast content to make this process simpler!
