How to send a broadcast to your members
To send a membership Broadcast, navigate to 'Memberships' and select 'Broadcasts' from the left-hand navigation:
Press the 'Create Broadcast' button.
Broadcasts are free to send but in order to prevent spam, you will be asked to add your payment details at this step if they’ve not yet been added.
Using the 'Recipients' dropdown, choose which types of members you would like to email.
Fill in the Subject and Message with the content you would like to send.
You can format the message to look however you want using the tools provided and you can add placeholders to personalise the message.
For example, if you wanted a personalised greeting such as Hi Sarah, click the 'Insert placeholder' button and click 'Member first name'. This will add a placeholder to the message that will be replaced by your member's name.
Next, you can decide when you want your email to be sent, the options are:
Immediately – send your message instantly to your chosen audience
At a scheduled date and time – choose a specified time to send your message
When you're ready to send, read and agree to the terms and click the 'Send Broadcast' button. You'll get a quick preview to check it over one final time.
💡 If you're not ready to send yet, click 'Save draft' and you can come back and send it later.
That's it. Your Broadcast is now queued for sending and the system will take care of the rest. For immediate messages, it will usually go out within ten minutes.
💡 Sending announcements with Membership broadcasts is included for free.
Only selling Membership products online has a small charge: 1 credit or 1 PAYG charge (the same as selling tickets).
💡 You can only send membership codes as a placeholder. If you would like to resend a membership QR code, please do so from the original order.
💡 If you want to send the same information to ticket holders of a specific event as well as members, you will need to copy and paste your broadcast content, and send one member's broadcast and one ticket holder's broadcast from your event.
