Integrating your Ticket Tailor account with Tixel

Integrate with Tixel to access their ethical ticket resale software and allow ticket buyers to securely sell and buy your event tickets.

Tixel is integrated with Ticket Tailor, so you can connect your Ticket Tailor account to your Tixel account.


Setting up your event on Tixel

  • Head to Tixel's Organiser Login.

  • Once you’re logged in, click 'Add Event' in the top right corner.

  • Search and select Ticket Tailor from the dropdown list.

    Integrate Tixel with Ticket Tailor

  • Generate a Ticket Tailor API token by heading to 'Box office settings' and then 'API' to generate a new API key with Admin access.

  • It's essential you grant 'Admin' access when generating the API key, otherwise the integration won't work.

  • Copy and paste your Ticket Tailor API token.

  • Select the events that you’d like to add to Tixel.

  • Your Tixel and Ticket Tailor integration is now setup.

  • Now that your integration is activated, when a ticket is resold on Tixel, a brand new one will be re-issued to the buyer from Ticket Tailor.

    • This will update the name on the ticket in the process.

  • All resales will be tracked in the Ticket Tailor system.

Fees for using Tixel

  • Tixel doesn't charge you as an event organiser.

  • No Ticket Tailor fees apply for new tickets issued with Tixel.

    • For example, if you're on a Pre pay plan and a customer buys a ticket from you then resells it using Tixel, you'll be charged 1 usage for the original sale only.


How to list tickets for sale on Tixel

  • Your buyers can easily list their tickets for sale on Tixel! They just need to email their original confirmation email to Tixel to the email they will find on Tixel's email confirmation listing page here.

  • Then they need to keep an eye on their emails so that they can complete their listing via the return email with the special link.
