At Ticket Tailor, we charge you based on 'usage'. For example, if you sell one £10 ticket, you would be charged one 'usage' fee. You can pay for usage in one of two ways.

  • Pay as you sell: you will be charged after usage is registered on your box office.

  • Pre pay: purchase usage credits in advance and unlock significant savings.

    • If you're Pre pay credits run out, you'll automatically be charged at the Pay as you sell rate for your next chargeable usage, without any disruption to your sales.

  • Free tickets issued on the platform are free (within fair usage limits).

How much does usage cost?

The price you pay for usage can be found by going to 'Box office settings' > 'Billing'.

When will I be charged?

Pre pay

  • If you pay via the 'Pre pay' option, then payment is taken upfront via credit/debit card.

    • You'll have the option to auto-renew monthly, when ticket credits are low (25 tickets or less remaining) or purchase on a one-off basis.

Pay as you sell

  • If you're taking payments via Stripe, your PAYG fee will be collected automatically at the point of sale.

    • If this fails to happen, an invoice will be generated and we'll charge our fees from your credit or debit card.

  • If you're using PayPal, Square or Offline payments to collect payments, we'll collect payment from your card.

  • You'll be charged as soon as you meet one of the below conditions:

    • On a monthly cycle (on the date stated in the 'Unbilled usage' section of your 'Billing' page).

    • Every 50 units of chargeable usage (e.g. after 50 ticket sales).

    • 2 days after an event ends, if you don't have any more upcoming events.
