💡 Things to note

Notes for recurring events without overrides or seating charts

  • Tickets can’t be transferred if there are not enough available tickets left on the new occurrence.

  • Orders can’t be partially transferred.

  • When transferring an order, you won't be charged additional credits for the tickets.

  • If an order can't be transferred, you'll see a warning message after selecting the occurrence explaining why.

A screenshot of an error message which says "This occurrence does not have enough availability. Increase availability or chose another occurrence."

Notes for recurring events with overrides or seating charts

  • You can change the number of tickets in the order, or the ticket types in the order, when rescheduling orders for recurring events with overrides or seating charts.

  • If you're transferring a large order (e.g. an order with 20 tickets) to an occurrence with an override that has fewer than 20 tickets available, you'll be able to transfer the order and issue fewer tickets than your customer originally booked.

  • Transferring orders between events with overrides or seating charts automatically cancels the original order to a voucher, and applies the voucher to the new booking. This is why you need to add tickets to the basket again.
