If you're using the Linea Pro 5 Bluetooth scanner, the below configuration should help you connect the check-in app to your device.
Configuring the Linea Pro 5 to read Ticket Tailor QR codes
Install QWedge on your scanning device to enable your iPod or iPhone to receive bar codes.
Open iPod Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard.
Under '3rd party keyboards' select the QWedge keyboard that you just installed.
Open the QWedge app which you just installed and select 'Setup barcode'.
Press the + icon on the top right of the screen.
Select 'Add trailing'.
Under options, add_bc in the text field.
Press the + icon again.
Select 'Remove leading'.
In the text field next to Remove leading length, add 7.
You should see something like this:
Connecting the scanner to the Check-in app
Open Check-in app > Profile > Settings > Toggle Enable external scanner.
Click on your event in Check-in app.
The keyboard should pop up (If it doesn't, tap the scanner icon in the middle of the screen).
Long press the globe icon at the bottom left of the keyboard to switch to the new QWedge keyboard.
With the scanner is active, press the green icon next to the space bar on the keyboard. This should open a settings menu. Scroll to the right to see more options.
If the button at the top of the keyboard says disconnected, that means the scanner is in sleep mode. Press the button on the right side of the scanner to activate it.
Select the following options: 'Always Connected', 'Auto Barcode Scan', 'Auto Dismiss Keyboard'.
Close the options screen and scan your tickets.
