How to update occurrence capacity
If you've sold tickets to an occurrence in your series, you can update your capacity if you need to, for example, due to government pandemic restrictions.
You can adjust occurrence capacity using 'Overrides'.
Can I reduce the capacity below what I've already sold?
Yes - if you've sold more tickets for an occurrence than your new override allows, your occurrence will show as 'oversold'
Ticket Tailor will allow you to assign an override to an occurrence where you are oversold.
You will see a warning when assigning the override to the occurrence.
What to do if I've oversold an occurrence?
It's up to you how to manage your orders!
You might be able to allow higher capacity to attend your event on the occurrences you've oversold.
You may want to cancel and refund some orders.
You may want to rebook your attendees to another occurrence in your recurring event.
