Using Bluetooth scanners
If you are connecting an external scanner to your Check-in app on your phone, or other compatible devices, you will need to enable Bluetooth in your device settings.
To turn on external scanning, click on the profile icon on the top right of the home screen.
Go to 'Settings’
Then toggle on the 'Enable external scanner' setting:
💡 To check whether your scanner is connected to your phone or tablet, you should check your connected devices in your device Bluetooth settings.
Configuring your scanner settings
You may need to configure your external scanner, or your scanning device so that it can read your ticket barcodes.
Ticket Tailor ticket codes have a suffix _bc attached to the barcode.
Some devices require this to be configured, for example in the device settings or by scanning a barcode in the manual.
💡 Please check your scanner manual to see how to 'append suffix' to your barcodes.
