You can connect external scanners to be used with the Ticket Tailor check-in app through your device's Bluetooth settings.
💡 To check whether your scanner is connected to your phone or tablet, review the list of connected devices in your device's Bluetooth settings.
Using Bluetooth scanners
If you're connecting an external scanner to the Ticket Tailor Check-in app on your phone or other compatible device, make sure Bluetooth has been enabled in your device settings.
To turn on external scanning, click on the profile icon on the top right of the home screen.
Go to 'Settings’.
Then toggle on the 'Enable external scanner' setting.
Configuring your scanner settings
You may need to configure your external scanner or scanning device so that it can read your ticket barcodes.
Most often, you can set this up in your device settings or by scanning a barcode in the manual.
Set up an ENTER or RETURN character suffix which is added to the end of any scanned barcode.

Check your scanner manual to see how to 'append suffix' to your barcodes.
