If you are organising a free event or are using offline payments, and would like to discourage bots from making bookings, you can add a CAPTCHA challenge to your event checkout.
The CAPTCHA will add a verification step that ensures you have a human customer selecting tickets.
To enable this:
Navigate to your ‘Settings’ tab.
Under ‘basic settings’ select the checkbox marked ‘Always show a CAPTCHA challenge when payment details aren't required’.
Then click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page.
Please note: Even if this box is not selected, the CAPTCHA may sometimes show automatically to customers booking tickets to free events, as an added Ticket Tailor security measure.
