If you're putting on an event and want to keep some ticket types hidden for a reserved group of customers (for example, VIPs who get free or discounted entry), you can set up locked tickets so that they're only visible to those with the access code or secret link.

How to set up tickets locked behind an access code
When creating or editing a ticket type, click the 'Advanced settings' checkbox to see the 'Status' dropdown.
From the 'Status' dropdown, select 'Access code required'. A new text box will appear labelled 'Access code'.
Enter the access code of your choice. This is the code that will protect your tickets, so try to make it secure.
Note that codes are case-sensitive.
Click 'Add ticket type'.
How it looks for ticket buyers
On ticket selection, a new option will appear for ticket buyers, labelled 'Use ticket access code'.
When they click this button, they'll be prompted to enter an access code. If they submit a valid access code, then the relevant locked tickets will appear.
How to create a secret link to automatically unlock ticket types
To save time, you may want to just send out a secret link instead of a code. You can create a link to your event which will automatically apply the access code.
Get your event link, and add: ?a=code to the end of it.
For example, if my event link was 'https://buytickets.at/jazzclub/317555' and my access code was 'letmein', then my secret link would be: 'https://www.tickettailor.com/events/jazzclub/31755?a=letmein#ticket_selection'.

π‘ Things to note
You can create as many locked tickets as you like, and you can use the same code, so that a single code unlocks multiple ticket types.
If you're sharing a link to your code, only use numbers and letters in your access code, to prevent issues with the URL.
