You may want to send ticket buyers an invoice when they buy tickets. You can easily attach an invoice to the order confirmation by following these steps:

  1. Go to 'Box office settings' from the main navigation.

  2. Click on 'Confirmation emails'.

  3. Look for 'Order confirmation' and then click 'Edit'.

  4. Look for the checkbox labelled 'Attach invoice' and check this.

  5. You will see an Invoice preview. Fill in the text boxes with your own information. This is typically your company name, address, and any relevant tax details.

  6. Click 'Save'.

That's it. Ticket buyers will now receive an invoice attached to their order confirmation which will look like this:

πŸ’‘ If you have event-specific order confirmations set up, then you will need to enable invoices at this level too.

How to add customer information to your invoices

To add customer information to your invoices:

  • Click on the link called 'including placeholders' to open a list of the customer information you can add to your invoice.

  • Copy and paste the placeholders you want to use into the invoice.

πŸ€” You can also use Zapier to connect to your preferred accounting software or send an invoice directly from Stripe, Square or PayPal.
