You may want to send ticket buyers an invoice when they buy tickets. You can easily attach an invoice to the order confirmation by following these steps:
Go to 'Box office settings' from the main navigation.
Click on 'Confirmation emails'.
Look for 'Order confirmation' and then click 'Edit'.
Look for the checkbox labelled 'Attach invoice' and check this.
You will see an Invoice preview. Fill in the text box with your own heading. This is typically your company name, address, and any relevant tax details.
That's it. Ticket buyers will now receive an invoice attached to their order confirmation which will look like this:
💡 If you have event-specific order confirmations set up, then you will need to enable invoices at this level too.
🤔 If you want to add custom information about your customer to your invoices, you will need to use an external invoicing tool to do this. You can use Zapier to connect to your preferred accounting software or send an invoice directly from Stripe, Square or PayPal.
