You might want to increase the price of a ticket automatically, once a certain number of tickets have been sold. For example, you might be offering pre-sale or early-bird tickets which increase in price once limited, cheaper, tickets have sold out.
You can set a ticket or bundle to remain hidden until another ticket type’s quantity drops below a threshold. Once that happens, the hidden ticket or bundle becomes visible and available for purchase.
How to set up tiered ticket pricing:
Head to your event and choose 'Edit event and tickets'.
Create the ticket type or bundle you'd like to hide initially (e.g. General Admission – Tier 2 Pricing).
Tick the box: “Hide until another ticket type is running low.”
Choose the trigger ticket and quantity:
Select the ticket type you'd like to monitor (e.g. General Admission).
Enter the quantity threshold (e.g. 10).
This means: “Hide this ticket until General Admission drops below 10 remaining.”
Save your changes.
💡 Things to note
The trigger ticket won't hide automatically. It will appear as 'sold out' alongside the new ticket type once all tickets are purchased. If you want to hide it, tick the box: 'Hide when sold out'.
