On the 18th November 2024, we made revenue reporting more accurate as part of our new Revenue reports.

The way we calculate your revenue has improved. This means you might notice your revenue amount is slightly different to the one you used to see on your dashboard and event analytics, as it’s now accurately capturing your refunds.

The revenue you can see in Ticket Tailor is now calculated as the total amount of money you have taken for ticket and product sales and donations, minus any refunds, across all your events in your box office.

Previously, we assumed all cancelled orders were fully refunded. But with this update, we account for the specific refund options you’ve selected for each cancellation.

How can I find my old revenue number?

  • Head to 'Orders' and 'Sales reports' to view your revenue report.

  • Use the 'Add filter' dropdown, and choose all orders with the status 'Completed (excluding cancelled).

  • Subtract the total 'Adjustment for transferred orders' from the bold 'Sales' total.

    • It is a double negative, so will equal a higher total.

  • The new figure will reflect the old total you may have seen as your revenue figure.
