Keep all of your ticket sales, reporting and event revenue in one place by selling tickets and checking in at the door with the same free Ticket Tailor Check-in App.
To sell tickets and take in-person orders at your event, you will need to set up your device and take payment for in-person orders via Stripe Tap To Pay, or by an external method (e.g. cash) recorded as an operator payment.

Create your check-in app users.
Make sure you enable the ‘Allow user to place in-person orders (all events)’ setting when configuring your user.
Choose whether the user is allowed to accept payments for in-person orders, and which type of payments.
None selected – this check-in app user will only be able to create free orders, where no payment is required.
‘Operator’ – a way to indicate that the payment was taken outside of Ticket Tailor. Eg. you could record "cash", or maybe a transaction reference to a third-party payment system.
'Stripe Tap To Pay’ – for compatible iPhone and Android devices. This allows you to accept card and mobile wallet payments with just a phone.

Click the 'sell' item at the bottom of your screen.
Add the tickets and products you want to sell to your customer to the basket by clicking the '+' or '-' icons.
When you're happy with your selection, click 'review'.
Click 'Take payment'.
If you have multiple payment processors set up to take payments for in-person orders you may have to click to expand the menu to see the button.
You will see a Stripe payment screen.
Ask your customer to tap their card on your device to take the payment, and wait for confirmation.

💡 Things to note
Your event must have Stripe set in the payment settings for tickets to be sold via Tap to Pay in the check-in app.
Order management (cancelations, refunds etc.) for Tap to Pay orders will need to be managed via your ‘Orders’ page on www.tickettailor.com, and not in the app.
Orders made using Stripe Tap to Pay cannot be refunded via Stripe. Users can refund via voucher or “outside TT”
If you leave the app running in background for long time (causing it to lose connection with NFC) and then immediately try to take payment, the payment will not go through because the device won't be able to reconnect to the NFC. Please close the app when you're not using it.
If your ticket types have a minimum order requirement, you need to tap on the number (0) to adjust the quantity, you cannot use the +/- icons.
