To protect your account and maintain a great community for ticket buyers you need to verify your box office.

Once verified, you’ll unlock some brilliant free features like Email broadcasts and we can identify you if you need help with your account settings. Verifying your Box office also helps to keep Ticket Tailor free from spammers and abuse. This improves ticket deliverability, website performance and trust in your events.

💡 Box office verification and event verification are different. Reply to your direct message if you’ve been asked to verify a specific event.

Who can verify a box office?

Your box office owner, or any of the teammates with admin permissions, can verify your box office.

If you’re worried about staff changing in the future, you can invite all of your team members to your account for free, via Team access.

How long does it take to verify a box office?

It should take less than 5 minutes to verify your account when you have your documents ready.

To verify your account you will need:

  • A passport or driving license.

  • A device to take a selfie, that is connected to the internet (e.g. your phone or a laptop with a webcam).

Why do I need to verify my box office to use some features?

Some of our free features are so great that spammers (unfortunately) like them too. But don’t worry, spammers don’t like sharing their identity with us, so asking for verification helps keep our platform - and your events - safe, with a great reputation.

No spam means we can keep up our reliable email deliverability rates for your tickets too!

How else can I keep my account safe and backed up?

Here are a few of our top tips for keeping your account safe and recoverable (for example if you forget your password and need us to reset it):

  • Don’t share your account login and password!

    • Set up a unique account for everyone who uses Ticket Tailor for free using Team access if you have a big team.

    • You can send email notifications to a central inbox by updating your email preferences in your settings.

  • Secure your account using 2FA.

  • Create your account using Google SSO.
